Leslie Girard crafted Imitation Man in 2018, a fragrance that embodies the juxtaposition of modern sophistication and traditional Omani heritage. The composition begins with citron and spices like nutmeg and black pepper, creating an invigorating freshness before transitioning to the heart of Turkish rose, orris, and violet. This floral warmth is anchored by earthy accords of leather, vetiver, patchouli, and myrrh, evoking a sense of grounded elegance.
Two sprays are sufficient as the spicy top notes fade within two hours but leave behind a lingering base that lasts through the day. The fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, so apply directly on pulse points for maximum impact.
