Launched in 2012 by Amouage, Interlude Woman is a chypre floral fragrance crafted by perfumer Karine Vinchon Spehner. The composition weaves together marigold and immortelle with woody elements like sandalwood and agarwood (oud), creating an intricate blend of warmth and complexity. Its heart features spicy notes of ginger and incense, balanced by sweet honey and opoponax, while the base includes rich tonka bean and vanilla for lasting comfort.
Interlude Woman has strong sillage and long-lasting notes. One or two sprays are enough to ensure that its rich base notes gradually unfold over time. It’s best suited for evenings when you want a fragrance that lingers close to your skin.
