Launched in 2020, Meander by Amouage is a fragrance that seamlessly blends traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with contemporary perfumery techniques. Perfumer Mackenzie Reilly has crafted a composition centered around the woody and earthy accords of olibanum, carrot seeds, and vetiver, which create a warm and powdery base. The top notes of black pepper and pink pepper introduce a fresh spiciness that contrasts beautifully with the heart notes of orris, narcissus, and rose, adding depth and complexity.
Apply Meander to pulse points for an intimate experience. The top notes dissipate quickly, so allow it to settle into the base accords before venturing out. It reads best close to the skin rather than projecting across a room.
