The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019, Ottoman Empire Part II by Areej Le Doré is a luxurious blend of warm spiciness and rich floral notes crafted by perfumer Russian Adam. The composition features an array of exotic ingredients such as Indian oud, saffron, and white rose, which create a complex blend of aromas that evoke the opulent heritage of its namesake empire. The fragrance opens with a burst of fresh spicy accords like cardamom and pepper, before transitioning to a heart of lush florals and aromatic woods. The base notes of amber, sandalwood, and myrrh provide a grounding warmth, making this an ode to the grandeur of the past.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points — wrists, neck, behind ears. The top notes are vibrant but fleeting, so wait at least five minutes before reapplying. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it perfect for intimate settings.
