Jean-Christophe Hérault crafted Azzaro Chrome Aqua in 2019, building on the brand’s legacy of Mediterranean luxury with a fresh and aromatic EDT. The fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of grapefruit and green apple, infused with the crispness of violet leaf and sea notes. This aquatic freshness is balanced by the warm, woody undertones of basil, mint, cypress, and vetiver, creating a dynamic contrast that makes it feel like two fragrances in one. It's a scent that embodies both modernity and lasting elegance.
A single spray is enough for this fragrance, as it has a strong opening that fades into a warm woody base over time. Best suited for daytime wear, it reads best in cooler weather when its marine notes are most refreshing.

A teenage bottle of Joop, and a mentorJean-Christophe Hérault is a senior perfumer at IFF based in Paris, whose interest in fragrance began as a teenager after receiving a bottle of Joop! Homme. He later met legendary perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who agreed to mentor him into the craft.
