Launched in 2015 by Boadicea the Victorious, Dominant is a fragrance that embodies the brand’s commitment to quintessentially British elegance and incomparable quality. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from orange and citruses, which are soon enveloped by the warmth of cloves and jasmine. At its core lies the rich complexity of agarwood (oud) and amber, grounding the scent in a deep, animalic undertone that adds an unexpected layer of depth.
Dominant’s citrus opening is bright but fades quickly, so apply two sprays to ensure the warm base notes have time to emerge. It pairs well in cooler settings, as the animalic undertones are best appreciated close to skin rather than across a room.
