The story behind the bottle.
Empire, launched by Boadicea the Victorious in 2016 and crafted by perfumer Christian Provenzano, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that blends quintessentially British elegance with a touch of modernity. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like Sicilian Mandarin and Bergamot, which give way to a heart of plush florals such as Gardenia and Jasmine Sambac. The base notes of Patchouli, White Musk, Vanilla, and Sandalwood create an enveloping warmth that grounds the entire scent in rich, powdery comfort.
Empire has moderate longevity and sillage, so aim for two sprays to ensure a balanced presence throughout the day. The fragrance blooms best close to skin, making it perfect for daytime wear when you want a subtle yet sophisticated scent.
