The elemi top note sets the stage before cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger introduce a robust spiciness. This is balanced by the soft florals of jasmine and carnation, while the base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and cashmeran provide a rich, lingering comfort. Iceni’s long-lasting nature ensures that its warmth lingers throughout the day.
Given its long-lasting quality, Iceni needs just one or two sprays. The elemi top note fades quickly, but the base notes develop slowly over time, so it’s best applied in the morning for full-day wear.
