The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2014 by Boadicea the Victorious, Imperial Limited Edition is a gender-neutral fragrance that captures the essence of British heritage and lasting luxury. This composition opens with lavender and palisander rosewood, creating an aromatic tension before transitioning into the heart notes of angelica, birch, and freesia, which add a fresh spicy element. The base notes of leather, patchouli, sandalwood, agarwood (oud), and guaiac wood envelop the wearer in warmth and depth, reminiscent of ancient libraries or opulent study rooms.
Due to its enormous sillage and long-lasting nature, Imperial Limited Edition requires only one or two sprays. The fragrance projects powerfully from the start but takes about an hour for the base notes to fully bloom. It's ideal for cooler evenings when you want a scent that announces itself with confidence.
