Launched in 2018, Leather Oud by Dior is a bold statement from François Demachy, blending the richness of oud with the warmth and depth of leather. The top notes of bergamot and cardamom introduce an aromatic freshness that contrasts beautifully with the spiciness of cloves and geranium. As it develops, the fragrance reveals a complex heart of jasmine before settling into a smoky base that includes agarwood (oud), birch, patchouli, amberwood, sandalwood, and leather. This composition is both intense and captivating, embodying Dior's legacy of elegance and innovation.
Given its strong sillage and long-lasting nature, a single spray to the pulse points is sufficient. The fragrance develops fully over several hours, so it's best applied in advance for maximum impact.
