Irish Oud by Memo Paris, launched in 2015 and crafted by perfumer Aliénor Massenet, is an aromatic woody fragrance that captures the essence of a rugged landscape with modern sophistication. The composition opens with pink pepper and juniper berry, introducing a fresh spicy character. This gives way to clary sage and iris, which add depth and warmth before settling into a rich base of leather, birch, tonka bean, amber, and oud. The smoky and animalic notes create an intriguing contrast, making it feel both modern and lasting.
Apply this fragrance in light layers to allow its complex notes to unfold gradually. The smoky and woody base will develop over time, so it's best enjoyed close to skin rather than from across a room.
