The story behind the bottle.
Serenade by Boadicea the Victorious, launched in 2012, is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance created by perfumer Christian Provenzano. This composition opens with elemi and citrus notes that provide a fresh, aromatic brightness, before transitioning into a heart of rose, jasmine, and clary sage, which adds warmth and depth. The base notes of guaiac wood, oakmoss, vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, and musk create an earthy and balsamic foundation that grounds the fragrance in rich, woody tones.
Serenade has a strong projection but settles close to the skin over time. Start with one light spray; it develops fully within an hour, making it perfect for daytime wear where its warm, woody notes can complement both casual and formal settings.
