The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2018 by Boadicea the Victorious and crafted by Christian Provenzano, Violet Sapphire is a sophisticated Oriental Floral fragrance that seamlessly blends fruity and sweet top notes with an animalic woody base. The composition opens with raspberries, passionfruit, and peaches before transitioning to violet leaves and rose, creating a vivid contrast between the bright fruits and delicate florals. As it develops, magnolia and jasmine sambac add depth, while Cambodian oud and crystal amber introduce an earthy warmth that is further enriched by musk and cashmere wood. This fragrance embodies the brand's quintessentially British heritage, offering a luxurious experience that feels both lasting and contemporary.
Apply two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The fruity top notes are bright but fleeting, so wait a few minutes before layering on additional applications if needed. This fragrance performs best in cooler weather when the woody base can fully unfold without overpowering.
