Launched in 2011 by Boadicea the Victorious, Virtuous is a fragrance that blends quintessentially British elegance with an oriental twist. The top note of saffron introduces a vibrant and almost metallic brightness, setting the stage for the heart notes of rose and oud. These warm and spicy accords create a rich blend, while the base notes of sandalwood, musk, labdanum, and atlas cedar ground the composition in earthy warmth and powdery depth. Virtuous is neither overtly sweet nor overly dramatic, striking a balance that feels both lasting and contemporary.
Apply Virtuous to pulse points for a slow build. The saffron top note is fleeting but powerful, so it's essential that you allow enough time for the rich rose and oud heart notes to develop. Avoid wearing this fragrance in overly warm conditions as its powdery base can become slightly heavy.
