The story behind the bottle.
Chinatown by Bond No 9 was launched in 2005 and is a creation of perfumer Aurélien Guichard. This fragrance captures the essence of one of New York's most vibrant neighborhoods, blending white florals with warm spices and woody notes to evoke the bustling energy and rich aromas of Chinatown. The composition opens with peach blossom and bergamot, leading into a heart of tuberose, gardenia, and orange blossom, before settling into a base of sandalwood, guaiac wood, and patchouli. It is a fragrance that transports you to the heart of this dynamic neighborhood, where scents intertwine in an olfactory blend.
Apply this fragrance with two sprays to ensure the initial burst of peach blossom and bergamot is balanced by the deeper spiciness and warmth that unfolds over time. It's best worn in cooler weather when its spicy and woody notes can truly shine without overpowering.
