Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Twilly d'Hermès, launched in 2017 by perfumer Christine Nagel, is notable for its unconventional pairing of a large dose of fresh ginger with tuberose. This twist on the traditionally opulent white floral note creates a fragrance that feels both modern and lasting. Named after Hermès's iconic silk 'twilly' scarves, Twilly d'Hermès opens with a luminous ginger-bergamot spark before unfolding into a creamy heart of orange blossom and tuberose—florals that feel both ethereal and sensual. The fragrance settles into a warm embrace of sandalwood and vanilla, creating a sophisticated trail that lingers between sweetness and subtle spice.
Twilly d'Hermès has moderate longevity and sillage, so aim for two sprays to capture both its bright opening and warm base notes. The ginger-bergamot top notes fade within the first hour, making it ideal for daytime wear when you want a touch of freshness that evolves into warmth.
