The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

Launched in 2012 by Bond No 9, I Love New York for Marriage Equality is a Woody Spicy fragrance that reflects the spirit of the city during a pivotal moment. The composition opens with mandarin orange and plum, creating a fresh yet fruity contrast to the warm spiciness of nutmeg and cinnamon. Jasmine, rose, and lily add floral depth before settling into a powdery, musky base of cashmere wood, sandalwood, and amber. This fragrance is both celebratory and grounded, capturing the essence of New York's embrace of change and progress.

How to wear it

This fragrance has a strong presence from its opening notes, so one or two sprays are sufficient. The powdery base notes emerge after an hour, making it perfect for daytime wear when you want to feel both grounded and celebratory.
