The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2004 by Loewe, Solo Loewe is an Oriental fragrance for men crafted by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Laurent Le Guernec, and Emilio Valeros. The composition opens with a bright citrus-aromatic blend of mandarin orange, guava, lemon, and bergamot, creating an invigorating freshness that quickly transitions into a warm spicy heart. Lavender, rosemary, thyme, and pink pepper add layers of complexity, while woody notes like cashmirwood and patchouli provide depth. The base notes of amber, musk, and vanilla anchor the fragrance with a subtle warmth.
Solo Loewe's top notes are bright but fleeting, so apply it early in the day. The base notes take about an hour to bloom fully, making it perfect for daytime wear that evolves into the evening.
