The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2024 by Amouage, Reasons is crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour and embodies the brand's legacy of blending traditional Middle Eastern ingredients with modern olfactory artistry. This woody-spicy fragrance opens with cardamom and pink pepper, creating an aromatic tension that cuts through the richness of hazelnut and cinnamon. The heart unfolds with a mix of pine and cypriol, adding depth to the composition before settling into a warm, balsamic base of cashmeran, white amber, and patchouli. This fragrance is neither overtly masculine nor feminine, making it a versatile choice for those who appreciate complexity.
Reasons has a warm base that blooms slowly over time. Apply two sprays to your pulse points in the morning for a fragrance that evolves as you do throughout the day. It reads better close to skin than from across the room, so layering it with light clothing can enhance its presence.
