The story behind the bottle.
Lustre by Amouage was launched in 2024 and created by Julien Rasquinet and Paul Guerlain. This unisex fragrance marries the warmth of spices with the depth of woody accords, creating a composition that is both rich and inviting. The cardamom and orris at the top bring an aromatic freshness that sets the stage for the heart notes of sandalwood, cedarwood, and patchouli. These are further grounded by the balsamic warmth of benzoin, ambrarome, vanilla, and styrax, creating a scent that is both comforting and luxurious.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points for a balanced wear. The aromatic top notes are bright but will fade within the first hour, giving way to the rich, balsamic base that lasts throughout the day.
