The story behind the bottle.

Scentsation editorial

New York Fling, launched in 2003 by Bond No 9 and crafted by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, is an ode to the vibrant energy of New York City. The fragrance opens with a burst of clementine and ginger, followed by bergamot and freesia, which create a lively and fresh top layer. As it settles, notes of jasmine, peony, and lily-of-the-valley add a delicate floral touch, while cardamom and basil introduce a subtle spiciness. The base notes of cedar, sandalwood, musk, and amber provide warmth and depth, ensuring the scent remains engaging throughout the day.

How to wear it

Apply two to three sprays for a balanced experience. The citrus notes are bright but fleeting, so layering it over a light moisturizer can help extend its freshness. This scent is best suited for daytime wear, where its lively character shines.
