Launched in 2021 by Burberry and crafted by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, Midnight Journey is a fresh spicy fragrance that captures the essence of an urban night. The composition opens with ginger and black pepper, creating a vibrant and invigorating top note. As it settles, thyme and lavender add a herbal touch, while may rose introduces a delicate floral element. The base notes of guaiac wood, vanilla absolute, myrrh, and black amber provide warmth and depth, evoking the cozy comfort of an intimate evening.
Apply Midnight Journey on cool skin for maximum longevity. The spicy top notes are bright but fade within an hour, so the rich base notes will carry you through the evening. This fragrance reads better close to the skin rather than in a wide sillage.
