Vodka on the Rocks by By Kilian was launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur. This fragrance is a distinctive blend of aromatic and aldehydic notes, with a subtle vodka-like freshness that sets it apart from traditional scents. The composition opens with coriander and cardamom, giving way to the crisp greenness of rhubarb and the floral sweetness of lily-of-the-valley and pink rose. The base features ambroxan, oak moss, and sandalwood, creating a warm spicy and musky finish that feels both modern and lasting.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points for best effect. The fresh top notes are most noticeable in the first hour but give way to a warm and lingering musky base that lasts throughout the day. This scent is better suited for cooler temperatures, where its crispness can shine without overpowering.
