The story behind the bottle.
Amor Amor by Cacharel was launched in 2003 and quickly became emblematic of the early-2000s 'Y2K baddie' aesthetic. Created by perfumers Laurent Bruyère and Dominique Ropion, this Floral Fruity fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of citrus and fruity notes like black currant, orange, and mandarin, giving way to sweet and powdery accords such as vanilla, tonka bean, and musk. The composition is anchored by soft floral notes including rose, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley, creating a nostalgic warmth that has made it a beloved scent for many. Recently, Amor Amor has seen a revival thanks to TikTok, bringing back the sweet memories of its early days.
This fragrance has a quick opening with its citrus notes, so give it a few minutes to settle into the powdery and floral heart. One or two sprays are sufficient as the scent projects well and maintains its presence throughout the day.
