Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
Promesse by Cacharel, launched in 2005 and crafted by Carlos Benaïm and Sophie Labbé, is a Floral Fruity fragrance that captures the essence of youthful elegance. The composition opens with bright mandarin orange and blackberry notes, creating an immediate sense of freshness and vitality. This citrus-fruit duo then gives way to a heart of orchid, jasmine, and violet, adding layers of floral sweetness and depth. The base notes of musk, sandalwood, cedar, and amber provide warmth and a lingering powdery finish.
Apply one or two sprays to pulse points in the morning. The mandarin orange and blackberry top notes are bright but fleeting, so the scent will evolve into a warm, floral-musky base within an hour. This fragrance reads better close to skin than filling a room.
