The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021 and crafted by perfumers Véronique Nyberg and Alex Lee, Amethyst Haze by Carolina Herrera is a warm spicy woody fragrance that captures the essence of sophistication. The composition opens with cardamom and pink pepper, creating an immediate warmth and spice. Lavender adds a soothing note before coffee and bourbon vanilla introduce a rich, comforting aroma. Cashmere wood and patchouli ground the scent in earthy tones, while balsamic notes lend a touch of sweetness that lingers on the skin.
One or two sprays is sufficient for this fragrance. The warm spiciness of cardamom and pink pepper fades within an hour but leaves behind the rich vanilla and woody base, which lasts throughout the day. It pairs well with layering under a jacket or coat.
