The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1927 by Parfums Caron, Bellodgia is the work of Ernest Daltroff, who founded the legendary French perfume house in 1904. This floral fragrance opens with a warm spicy accord dominated by carnation and clove before giving way to a heart of rose, jasmine, and violet. The base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, and musk provide a powdery warmth that anchors Bellodgia’s intricate composition. It is a scent that embodies the refined elegance of early 20th-century Paris.
Bellodgia’s base notes bloom gradually, so it's best to apply two sprays and allow it to settle for about half an hour before going out. The fragrance reads better close to skin than from a distance, making it ideal for intimate settings or quiet evenings.
