Launched in 1981, Nocturnes de Caron Parfum by Caron was crafted by perfumer Gerard Lefort and stands as a quintessential example of the brand's enduring elegance. The fragrance opens with an aldehydic freshness, blending green notes and citrus to evoke a crisp, clean dawn. This initial brightness gives way to a rich heart of jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and rose, softened by orris root and cyclamen. The base notes of vetiver, sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla, amber, and musk create a warm, powdery finish that is both comforting and sophisticated.
Apply this parfum sparingly — the aldehydic top notes are bright but can be overwhelming if overused. Focus on pulse points for the best effect. The fragrance blooms slowly, so it's ideal for evening wear when you want to build a subtle, lasting presence.
