Le 3e Homme de Caron was launched in 1985 and is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men, crafted by perfumers Akiko Kamei and Françoise Caron. This composition opens with the bright freshness of Amalfi lemon and bergamot, balanced by the aromatic richness of lavender and rosemary. The heart introduces a complex interplay of carnation, geranium, jasmine, and rose, while the base notes ground it with oak moss, vetiver, cedar, patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean, and musk. This fragrance is a harmonious blend of fresh and earthy elements that evoke both modernity and tradition.
Two sprays to the pulse points ensure that the bright citrus top notes make way for the more complex heart and base notes. This fragrance is best suited for daytime wear when its fresh aromatic character can shine without overpowering.

Akiko Kamei
Akiko Kamei, originally trained as a dietician in Kōchi, Japan, developed a passion for French culture and moved to France, securing an internship at Roure in Grasse in the early 1970s alongside future colleagues Pierre Bourdon, Édouard Fléchier, and Michel Almairac.
