Launched in 2003, Mure et Musc Cologne by L'Artisan Parfumeur is an exquisite blend crafted by perfumer Akiko Kamei. This unisex fragrance opens with the vibrant freshness of citrus and green notes — bergamot, grapefruit, and mandarin orange — that immediately capture attention. As these top notes settle, a heart of jasmine emerges to soften the composition before it descends into a warm musky base that provides both depth and comfort.
One or two sprays are enough to capture its essence. The citrus and green top notes fade within an hour but leave a lingering musk that stays close to skin throughout the day.

Akiko Kamei
Akiko Kamei, originally trained as a dietician in Kōchi, Japan, developed a passion for French culture and moved to France, securing an internship at Roure in Grasse in the early 1970s alongside future colleagues Pierre Bourdon, Édouard Fléchier, and Michel Almairac.
