Christophe Raynaud's Cuir Grenat, launched by L'Artisan Parfumeur in 2023, is an olfactory exploration of contrasting worlds — the warmth and craftsmanship of a leather workshop against the luminous exterior. The fragrance opens with a burst of raspberry, leading to a heart of rich leather that anchors the composition. This interplay creates a sense of depth and complexity, capturing both the dimly lit room's atmosphere and the outside world’s brightness.
Apply one or two sprays and let it settle for about an hour; the raspberry top note fades quickly but leaves behind a warm leather base that lasts throughout the day. This fragrance works best in cooler weather when its smoky, leathery notes can truly shine.
