The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2021, Ode à l'Oudh by L'Artisan Parfumeur is a sophisticated oriental fragrance created by Christophe Raynaud. The composition opens with caraway and dates, leading to an intricate heart of oud, incense, and saffron. These warm and spicy notes are contrasted by powdery and metallic accords that add depth and complexity, while the base of leather, sandalwood, and vanilla rounds out a rich, enveloping scent.
Ode à l'Oudh is best applied in moderation — one to two sprays are enough. The rich base notes take time to bloom, so it's ideal for evening wear or cooler weather when you want a scent that evolves throughout the night.
