The story behind the bottle.
Saso, launched by Shiseido in 1987, is an iconic Floral Aldehyde fragrance that epitomizes the sophistication and elegance for which the brand has been known since its founding in 1872. The composition opens with a vibrant blend of aldehydes and green notes, creating a fresh and crisp atmosphere. This initial burst gives way to a heart of hyacinth, ylang-ylang, jasmine, rose, lily-of-the-valley, and violet, offering a bouquet of delicate florals that are both lush and refined. The base is warm and enveloping with vetiver, musk, sandalwood, amber, benzoin, tonka bean, and vanilla, grounding the scent in a powdery and woody warmth.
Apply Saso to pulse points for the best longevity. The aldehydes and green notes are bright but fleeting, so layer with the base notes to ensure warmth and depth throughout the day.
