The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1997 by Shiseido and crafted by perfumers Jean-Marie Santantoni and Seiitchi Hirose, Relaxing Fragrance is a Floral Green composition that balances freshness with warmth. The opening notes of bamboo and cucumber create a crisp, green freshness that feels invigorating yet serene. As the fragrance develops, it reveals layers of tea rose, peony, and gardenia, adding floral depth without becoming overpowering. The herbal and woody accords, including artemisia and cardamom, provide a grounding warmth that keeps the scent from feeling too light or fleeting.
Apply this fragrance lightly — it unfolds gradually over time. A single spray will allow the fresh top notes to transition seamlessly into the floral heart throughout the day.
