The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 1992, Feminité du Bois by Shiseido is a fragrance that captures the essence of warm and spicy woods with a hint of sweetness. Created by perfumers Christopher Sheldrake and Pierre Bourdon, this Oriental Woody scent opens with cinnamon and ginger, bringing an immediate warmth to the composition. The heart notes of carnation, rose, plum, and violet add complexity and depth, while the base of sandalwood, benzoin, vanilla, and musk provides a long-lasting powdery warmth that lingers on the skin.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points, as it blooms slowly on the skin. The cinnamon and ginger notes are bright but short-lived, so the warm woods and musk will carry the scent for hours. It is best worn in cooler weather when its warmth can be fully appreciated.
