Who Wears It
The story behind the bottle.
L'Anarchiste by Caron was launched in 2000, crafted by perfumer Richard Fraysse. This fragrance is a blend of woody and aromatic notes with a hint of cinnamon and musk that creates an intriguing contrast between fresh green tones and warm spices. The composition opens with mint and African orange flower before transitioning into the heart of vetyver, Virginia cedar, guaiac wood, sandalwood, and finally settling on a musky base with white floral accents. It is neither overtly sweet nor overly sharp but rather a harmonious blend that speaks to both its name and its maker's vision.
Apply L'Anarchiste with two sprays to allow the green and spicy notes to unfold. The woody base takes about an hour to fully bloom, so it's best used during cooler hours or indoors where its warmth can be appreciated without overpowering.
