Mathilde Laurent crafted Oud Vanille by Cartier in 2023, blending the woody and animalic facets of oud with the powdery sweetness of vanillin. This composition creates a striking contrast between its earthy depth and sugary charm, resulting in an addictive scent that is both complex and comforting. The powdery notes add warmth to the woody base, making it a fragrance that can be worn from day into night without losing its appeal.
Apply one to two sprays — the vanillin opens quickly but fades within an hour, leaving the rich oud base to linger. Best for evening wear or cooler temperatures when you want a warm, enveloping scent.
