Launched in 2012 by Bogue, Castello was crafted by perfumer Antonio Gardoni. This composition is a blend of memories and imagery, evoking the scent of old Cedar of Lebanon trees, forgotten armors, and lazy Sunday walks through a lost zoo. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes that give way to a heart of floral and woody accords, creating an olfactory blend that feels both nostalgic and lasting.

Antonio Gardoni, an Italian perfumer originally trained as an architect, founded Jump Studios in London before turning to fragrance as a self-taught, avant-garde perfumer. He develops scents for his own brand Bogue as well as for Zoologist and Shekor, preferring to work at night with traditional infusion methods and high-concentration extrait de parfum strength, and offers a bespoke 'Bogue-Tailor' service.
