Launched in 2016 by Chanel, 31 Rue Cambon Eau de Parfum is a Woody Chypre fragrance that embodies the brand's enduring elegance. Jacques Polge crafted this composition around iris and ylang-ylang, which create a delicate floral heart, balanced by earthy patchouli and woody notes. The top notes of black pepper and bergamot add an invigorating freshness that contrasts with the powdery warmth of the base, where labdanum and amber lend depth and sensuality.
This fragrance blooms gradually, so allow it to settle on your skin for at least an hour before reapplying. It's best worn close to the body — think wrists and neck — as it reads more intimately than expansively.
