The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2019, Nuit des Rois by Chopard is a Woody Spicy fragrance crafted by perfumer Alberto Morillas. This composition opens with the brightness of bitter orange and neroli, before diving into a rich blend of oud and saffron. The base notes of agarwood (oud), sandalwood, guaiac wood, Laotian oud, and vetiver create a warm, powdery depth that is both enveloping and sophisticated. Nuit des Rois stands out for its intricate blend of floral and spicy elements, making it a scent that feels at home in the quiet elegance of Swiss luxury.
This fragrance blooms over time, so applying it in light layers allows its rich accords to develop gradually. The spicy and woody base notes are best appreciated close to skin rather than across a room, making this ideal for an evening out or a quiet dinner.
