Launched in 2013 by Swiss luxury brand Chopard, 1000 Miglia is a fragrance that captures the essence of precision and raw power. Created by perfumers Olivier Polge and Bruno Jovanovic, this aromatic fougère composition opens with fresh spicy notes like lavender and juniper berries, giving way to a heart of violet and leather before settling into woody and powdery base notes. The juxtaposition of crisp bergamot and green grass against the rich, earthy tones of asphalt and coffee creates a dynamic contrast that mirrors the brand's heritage in precision engineering.
This fragrance is best applied in two sprays to capture both its fresh and warm facets. The top notes are brisk but fade within a couple of hours, so allow it time to settle into its woody base. It pairs well with an early morning commute or a midday meeting.
