The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2015 by Vertus, Oud Noir is a sophisticated blend that juxtaposes fresh and spicy top notes with rich woody and oriental bases. The fragrance opens with plum, apple, and saffron before transitioning to a heart of rose, geranium, and carnation. It settles into a base of oud, amber, sandalwood, and musk, creating an intriguing contrast between its bright initial impression and the deep warmth that follows.
Oud Noir is best applied in light layers — its top notes are vibrant but fleeting. Allow it to settle for an hour before reapplying if you want the full warmth of the base notes to come through. Ideal for evenings when you need both freshness and depth.
