The story behind the bottle.
Monarch by Vertus, launched in 2017, is a composition that balances fresh and warm spiciness with woody depth. The fragrance opens with juniper and lemon, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts beautifully with the warmth of pepper and cloves. As it evolves, cypress and jasmine bring a natural greenness to the heart, while resins and oakmoss add complexity to the base. This interplay between bright citrus and warm spices makes Monarch both vibrant and grounding.
Monarch's citrus and spicy top notes are bright but fleeting. Apply two sprays to ensure the woody and mossy base has time to develop fully on your skin. It’s best worn during cooler hours, as the warm spices can read more intense in higher temperatures.
