Oud Silk Mood, launched by Maison Francis Kurkdjian in 2018 and crafted by the brand's namesake perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, is a composition that balances fresh spicy and green top notes with rich woody and floral accords. The fragrance opens with Bulgarian rose and bergamot, which create an initial burst of brightness and freshness. As it evolves, chamomile adds a soothing herbal note before giving way to the deep, smoky warmth of oud and guaiac wood. This interplay between fresh, spicy, and woody elements creates a complex fragrance that is both uplifting and grounding.
This fragrance blooms slowly, so apply it directly to pulse points and allow at least five minutes for it to settle. The woody base notes take time to develop fully, making this ideal for layering under a jacket or cardigan.
