The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Clean, Sel Santal is a Woody fragrance that marries the crispness of tonic water and bergamot with the warmth of nutmeg and salt. The heart notes of fig and violet add an unexpected touch of sweetness and floral depth, while the base of sandalwood, musk, and amber creates a powdery, enveloping warmth. This composition is a study in contrast, where each layer adds a new dimension to the overall experience.
Sel Santal's powdery base notes take about an hour to fully bloom. Start with one generous spray; it stays close to the skin rather than projecting widely. The fragrance reads best during cooler weather when its warmth can be appreciated more.
