Launched in 1973, Acier Aluminium by Creed is a citrus-aromatic fragrance that embodies traditional masculine strength and elegance. Created by James Henry Creed and Bernard Ellena, this composition opens with bright bergamot before giving way to spicy and fruity notes. The base of ambergris and vanilla adds warmth and depth, creating a scent that feels both modern and lasting. Acier Aluminium draws inspiration from medieval chain mail armor, where the term "acier" in French translates to steel — a nod to its robust and resilient character.
Acier Aluminium is best applied lightly; its base notes take about an hour to fully bloom. For optimal wear, apply it to pulse points for a subtle yet lasting presence throughout the day.
