The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2009 by Givenchy, Ange Ou Demon Le Secret is a floral masterpiece created by perfumer Bernard Ellena. The fragrance opens with the freshness of Amalfi lemon and cranberry, creating a vibrant and zesty top note that transitions into the heart of peony, jasmine, and water lily — soft florals that evoke a sense of delicate beauty and purity. The base notes of tea and patchouli add depth and warmth, grounding the composition with earthy and woody undertones. This fragrance was one of the most reviewed in its time, praised for its balance between freshness and floral richness.
Apply lightly to pulse points. The bright citrus notes are prominent initially but allow the floral heart to emerge after about half an hour. It’s best suited for daytime wear as it maintains a fresh and vibrant profile throughout.
