The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2011, Ange ou Demon Le Secret Elixir by Givenchy is a chypre floral fragrance that embodies the brand’s signature blend of French elegance and American glamour. Perfumer Bernard Ellena crafted this scent with an intriguing mix of fresh and warm notes, starting with Amalfi lemon and neroli for a bright opening, before settling into a heart of jasmine and frangipani. The base notes of patchouli, cedarwood, and musk add depth and warmth, creating a composition that is both crisp and enveloping.
Apply this fragrance lightly — the bright citrus top notes are quick to dissipate and can feel too sharp if layered heavily. The warm base notes emerge gradually, so one or two sprays will suffice for lasting comfort throughout the day.
