The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2013 and crafted by perfumer Lucas Sieuzac, The Game Intense by Davidoff is a woody-oriental fragrance that embodies the depth and intensity of its namesake. The composition opens with a bold splash of gin, adding an unexpected layer of complexity to the typical aromatic opening. This is followed by blackwood and orris, which create a rich, earthy heart that transitions seamlessly into the base notes of patchouli and labdanum. These notes anchor the scent with their warm, resinous character, creating a fragrance that feels both grounded and luxurious.
The gin top note is fleeting but impactful, so apply this fragrance with a slightly heavier hand initially. Once it settles into its base notes, The Game Intense becomes more intimate and close to the skin, making it perfect for evening wear when you want a scent that whispers rather than shouts.
