Launched in 2007 to celebrate Dior's 60th anniversary and its decade-long partnership with John Galliano, Passage No.9 is a fragrance inspired by the iconic model Gisele Bündchen. Created by François Demachy, it captures her seductive charm through an intricate blend of tuberose, woody notes, and dark florals. The composition opens with bright citrus before diving into a heart of rose and other floral accords, grounded by rich woodsy undertones. Passage No.9 is a modern interpretation of Dior's classic elegance, reflecting the charm of contemporary fashion icons.
This fragrance projects well with just one spray. The citrus opening is vibrant but short-lived; the rich floral and woody base develops more fully after an hour on skin, making it perfect for evening wear.
